bxtptinfo

NAME

bxtptinfo - query image and partition information

SYNOPSIS

bxtptinfo [ options ] image-name

DESCRIPTION

bxtptinfo prints information about the bochs-hd-image like disk-geometry, disk-size or partition offsets and size. bxtptinfo is mainly used as an utility-program from within the other Bochs-Tools, but some options are also useful for themselves.

OPTIONS

-V

Show the version-number of the Bochs-Tools

-h

Show options and parameters

-q

Don't output informative messages (default)

-v

Output informative messages

-i

Print image information in human-readable form

-s

Print image size in bytes

-g

Print geometry information (cylinders, heads, sectors per track)

-b

Print geometry information in a format suitable for a bochsrc configuration file

-p #

Print partition information (byte-offset of partition, partition size in 1k-blocks, partition type)
