liveice (v.1.0) - MP3 broadcasting software

SYNOPSIS

liveice [OPTIONS]

DESCRIPTION

The liveice program is used to broadcast MP3 audio over the network. It can be used to both broadcast prerecorded files using playlists or broadcast live recordings from any sound input device.

OPTIONS

-h
displays some help
-s server_name
specifies the remote server
-n name
specifies the stream name
-g genre
specifies the stream genre
-x
make stream private
-P password
specifies the login password for the stream relay
-u url
specifies the stream url
-o port
specifies the port number for the stream relay
-b bitrate
specifies the stream bitrate
-B quality
specifies the stream VBR quality factor (vbr streams only)
-r sample_rate
specifies the stream audio sampling rate
-c channels
specifies the stream no. of audio channel (mono/stereo)
-C
set copyright flag on stream
-f flag
disable/enable experimental full-duplex mode
-T seconds
timeout, terminate after a certain time period
-M
Mp3Mixer mode
-m
Simple, Line-in mode
-E
esdmon mode
-F file
read another configuration file
-k mode
mixer control mode
-K logfile
mixer control logfile
-@ frontend_type
set frontend type (0=curses 1=external program 2=none)
