planet-cache

DESCRIPTION

Planet allows to agregate the content of news feeds published by web sites. Use planet-cache to examine and modify information in the Planet cache. Whenever you are using item or channel commands, you have to specify a cache file, available in /var/cache/planet.

You can display informations about a channel (i.e. a specific rss feeds) by using the channel commands. --channel shows you general informations about a channel, --list shows you the existing items in a channel, whereas --keys shows you only the keys of the items.

You can also display items informations in a news feed by using the item commands. --item prints the information about a item of a channel. --hide hide an item, when you generate the first time your planet, only the items which are after the current date are tagged as hidden, otherwise the number of items tag as hidden can be configured by modifying `new_feed_items' into /etc/planet.conf. --unhide marks the item as not hidden.

Display know information about the item(s)

Mark the item(s) as hidden
