NAME

ecryptfs-umount-private - eCryptfs private unmount wrapper script.

SYNOPSIS

ecryptfs-umount-private

DESCRIPTION

ecryptfs-umount-private is a wrapper script for the umount.ecryptfs_private utility. It only unmounts if ~/.ecryptfs/auto-umount exists and if there are 1 or 0 instances of this user on the system, as reported by the who(1) utility. It also ensures that ~/.Private has 500 permissions after the unmount.

FILES

~/.ecryptfs/auto-umount - ecryptfs-umount-private only unmounts if this file exists

~/.Private - underlying directory containing encrypted data

~/Private - mountpoint containing decrypted data (when mounted)

~/.ecryptfs/Private.sig - file containing signature of mountpoint passphrase
