nbackup --- Physical Backup ManagerDESCRIPTION
This manual page documents briefly the nbackup command.
This manual page was written for the Debian distribution because the original program does not have a manual page. Instead, it has documentation you may find in the release notes, included in firebird2.0-doc package.
nbackup is a program that allows making incremental backups of firebird databases. It also allows database files to be locked for copying with OS tools like cp.
OPTIONS
- -L database
- Lock database for filesystem copy.
- -U database
- Unlock previously locked database.
- -F database
- Fixup database after filesystem copy.
- -B level database [filename]
- Create incremental backup.
- -R database [file0 [file1...]]
- Restore incremental backup.
- -U user
- User name
- -P password
- Password
