lpq - display the contents of a print queueSYNOPSIS
/usr/bin/lpq [-P destination ] [-l] [ + interval ] [ job-id ...] [ user ]DESCRIPTION
lpq shows print queue status and jobes queues on the queue.OPTIONS
The following options are recognized by lpq :- -P
- destination
query the named destination. If no destination is specified, the contents of the PRINTER environment variable are used. If the PRINTER environment variable is not set, the contents of the LPDEST environment variable are used. If the LPDEST environment variable is not set, the value "lp" is used. - -l
specifies that output should be in a more verbose format.- +
- interval
displays informatin at the specified time intervals. Stops displaying information when the print queue is empty. Clears the screen before displaying information. If interval is not specified, this executes only once. - job-id
the job number of a print job- user
the job-owner of a print job
